This easy cranberry apricot sauce is wonderful with turkey.

Cranberry Apricot Sauce - The Southern Lady Cooks

 This cranberry apricot sauce is a great addition to your holiday meal. It’s super easy to prepare and the apricot preserves add a wonderful flavor. You can make this in advance and just heat it up when you’re ready to eat.  This delicious sauce adds the perfect amount of sweetness to the turkey.

Ingredients Needed for Cranberry Apricot Sauce:

Fresh cranberries



Granulated sugar

Apple juice

Apricot preserves (I used no sugar added)

Recipe Notes: This sauce is wonderful served over turkey, ham, or a pork loin. It’s also wonderful on our turkey meatloaf.

  • 8 ounces of fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of allspice
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 cups of apple juice
  • 1 cup of apricot preserves I used no sugar added
  • Add cranberries, cinnamon, allspice, sugar, and apple juice to pot and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Turn down to a simmer and add preserves and let simmer until it’s the desired consistency. It took about 8-10 minutes. Remove from stove and let cool.
