Elden Ring is the new, hotly anticipated game from FromSoftware, tweaking the ever-popular Souls formula to create an experience that will go down in history.
Not only will Elden Ring be open world, but it will also take all that FromSoftware has learned through previous releases to create a gaming spectacle that we haven’t seen before. Think of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild merged with Dark Souls, sprinkle a little bit of George R R Martin magic on top and you’ve got Elden Ring. What more could you want?
While the game will be available across multiple platforms post the PlayStation exclusive FromSoft era, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are chomping at the bit to see if they’ll be getting the game also.
Below is everything we have learned on the matter at hand.
Will Elden Ring be on Game Pass?
As Microsoft and Xbox have been picking up studios left, right, and center, more and more games are being added to the Xbox Game Pass library for subscribers to enjoy. The biggest partnership comes in the form of Bethesda which brings with it some of the best RPGs in gaming history and the upcoming releases of both Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6.
Now, with this in mind, the question on everyone’s lips is ‘will Elden Ring be on Game Pass?’ well, unfortunately, at this point in time, we have had no confirmation of if Elden Ring will make it to Xbox’s Netflix-like game subscription service.
Looking at previous Souls releases from FromSoftware, these haven’t made their way onto Game Pass so we’d guess that Elden Ring will follow suit and sadly not make it. However, these are different times now and with Game Pass subscribers growing and growing, Microsoft could throw a bunch of cash FromSoft’s way and we can all enjoy Elden Ring without paying a penny extra.
