FilmConvert has just released the Canon R6 Camera Pack. The full-frame mirrorless EOS R6 is the little sibling to the Canon R5, featuring 5-axis in body image stabilization, dual card slots, and of course, Canon’s superb Dual Pixel Autofocus.
In video mode, it can shoot 4K60fps or Full HD 120p, and it’s a superb photographer’s camera as well, capable of 20fps continuous shooting and 20-megapixel stills.
Other noteworthy features of the EOS R6 include a durable, weather-sealed body design along with a bright and detailed 0.5″ 3.69m-dot electronic viewfinder, with a high 120 fps refresh rate, and a rear 3.0″ 1.62m-dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD.
Unlike the EOS R5, however, the EOS R6 internal video recording is limited to 4K UHD resolution internally at up to 59.94fps in either 8-bit H.264 or 10-bit YCbCr 4:2:2 H.265 with Canon Log.
Additionally, EOS R6 offers dual SD UHS-II memory card slots for flexible storage along with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for wireless sharing and remote camera control. Both a 3.5mm headphone and a 3.5mm external microphone port are featured for improved audio monitoring and recording capabilities.
Recently, Atomos announced that their Ninja V, Shogun 7 and Sumo19 HDR monitor recorders will record 4K 10-bit 422 Apple ProRes or Avid DNx video up to 60fps from both Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 full-frame mirrorless cameras.
