Here is how to make your own Homemade Cranberry Sauce. Cranberries are a super food and should be in your diet year round. Cranberries outrank most other fruits and vegetables in Vitamin C and antioxidants. They are good for urinary tract infections, blood pressure, the progression of tumors and gum disease. There is only 45 calories in 1/2 cup of cranberries.
It is so easy to make your own cranberry sauce. We eat this all the time and not just during the holidays. It goes great with so many dishes. We love it with any kind of pork or chicken served as a side dish. This sauce keeps well in the refrigerator for at least a week. You can make it sweeter if you like but we like the tartness.
